A Shortie
Completing a 2 week race calendar update which makes the rest of the newsletter short. Speaking of races, I was appalled at the $85 early bird price tag for the Philly Half. I know big races are expensive to put on but it's time for us runners to take back our sport and stop getting raked over the coals by organizers who put the runners at the bottom of the list of their priorities. You'll have ten times the enjoyment at the three to five local races you could do for $85. Local races where race directors put the runners first. Like the ones on the "Club List" where Bux-Mont members are either the race directors or key volunteers.
Group Run?
Saturday April 9, 10AM at the trailhead off Knight Road. take 663 west of East Greenville, turn south on Knight and the trail parking lot is a short way down the road. It gets to be muddy so bring extra shoes and socks for when we eat. The post-run food is the reason we go.

Start April at Jen Gaj's Tennis Zone 5K in Quakertown. The course is dear flat except for the one curb you have to cross once heading out an once coming back.
