Favorite Marathons?
The fall marathon season is just about over. Quite a few Bux-Monters ran either for the first or umpteenth time. Anyone want to share their thoughts about their favorite 26.2? It would be interesting to see how many prefer big versus small and city versus country, flat versus rolling, etc. Share also the relative importance to you of course, ease of registration, start/finish organization, aid stations, etc. in your considerations. Superbowl 10K
On line registration for the Superbowl 10K opens at www.lvrr.org on December 1. Registration is on-line only and the race field is capped so get on board quickly for one of the winter's most fun events. Take the plunge and run in the cold wearing your favorite team's gear. They might even be playing later in the day. Unless you're a Cowboy fan.
LV Half
The price goes up for the LV Half & 5K on 12/1. Also only on-line registration at http://www.active.com/framed/event_detail.cfm?CHECKSSO=0&EVENT_ID=1893973. The field is capped and usually sells out by early January. the race date is 5/1/11.
Carpools?
Sunday's carpool leaves from the Q-town Park & Ride at 9:15 for the Dirty Bird 15K trail run. Berwick Thanksgiving Day at 8:00. Who's doing the Shiver series?
Club Races
A week off for the Philly Marathon but back in the swing of things with two 5Ks to choose from on Saturday and the Dirty Bird on Sunday. You can make two of these but all three would require a superhuman effort.

Race Results
The Stone Mill folk trumped the Philly Marathon and Dean and Lori Johnson trumped them by taking an extended off-course detour in the 50 miler. Kudos to Bob Bodkin for banking his first 50 miler. Also special recognition to Kyle Smith in Philly for gutting it out and to Kristen Munoz on her first half.
